(No re-upload needed now!) It only speaks of lppl. japanese.dtx says lppl1.3. Upload type: announce

Announcement text: ---------------------------------------------------------------------- * Support for XeLaTeX/LuaLaTeX. * Fix a typo in \postpartname. * Add Japanese \proofname and \glossaryname. * Suppress nopatterns warning. ----------------------------------------------------------------------

Notes to CTAN maintainers:

The original author ING (Toru Inagaki) and we (texjporg) agreed that future maintenance is done by texjporg.

Okay. Toru Inagaki put on CC to keep him informed about the outcome of this agreement.

He also said that he is no longer interested in TeX, so he should be marked as "inactive".

Done.

More feedback for submitters: I gather from the first paragraph of your README.md that this package has been promoted from a "pseudo babel package" to a "real" babel package and that you are already referring to it as "babel-japanese". So had we not better rename the CTAN package, too, from the (far too general!) "japanese" to "babel-japanese"? And if we do this, should we not relocate it from ctan:/language/japanese/japanese/ to ctan:/macros/latex/contrib/babel-contrib/japanese/ ? (If you agree that this should be done, we will delay the announcement from "now+24hrs" to "end_of_movement+24hrs".) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ The update has been installed on our central server and will be announced about 24 hours later, when the mirrors have had enough time to pick up the new files ... or a little later, as described above. Kind regards Petra Rübe-Pugliese for the CTAN team ------------------------------------------------------------------------ This package is (still) located at http://mirror.ctan.org/language/japanese/japanese/ More information is (still) at http://www.ctan.org/pkg/japanese -- Please send messages to ctan@ctan.org in English only.
